Morwenna

London to Southampton, via Amsterdam
Sunday 26 September - Sunday 3 October
£695 per person, £4400 for the whole boat
At the end of September we are sailing Morwenna to Amsterdam. This may seem a strange destination but we are excited by the prospect of visiting a new city with our traditional pilot cutter.
Departing St Katherines Dock in the City of London, we will sail down the Thames, past the mighty towers of Canary Wharf, historic Greenwich, beneath the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at Dartford and out through the estuary. Crossing the southern end of the North Sea, we will then make use of the renowned Dutch canal system to take us into the heart of Amsterdam, where we will be moored for a couple of nights.
Amsterdam has much to offer the visitor, from the lively Dam Square, flanked by the Royal Palace, to the emotionally moving Anne Frank House and wonder of the Van Gogh Museum. The concentric and bisecting canals, lined with centuries old gabled houses, are the heart of a friendly city just made for wandering.
From Amsterdam, we sail to Southampton, aiming to arrive on the first Sunday in October. This is an opportunity for all lovers of sailing, whatever their experience, to enjoy a different type of adventure.
