Morwenna

The West Country and Ireland

During August Morwenna will be sailing to the south coast of Ireland and back again to the West Country.

Your skipper will guide you, teach you the ropes and by the end of the trip you will be confident in handling a traditional sailing vessel.  We will go where the wind and tide takes us; we will ensure you get to do as much as possible during your time on Morwenna.

The package includes your individual berth, your wet weather clothing and safety equipment, all the food you eat aboard, our fully qualified skipper to look after you and a truly unique sailing experience that will remain with you forever.

Saturday 31st July – Saturday 14th August

Book a berth or book the whole boat!

£1300 per person or £8500 for the exclusive use of Morwenna

Sail down the Channel with us and visit places which are just a day’s sail away but seem a world away from the place you have just left.  The Devon and Cornish coastlines are a delight, as too are the historic ports and secluded anchorages.  Cross the Irish Sea and arrive in the spectacularly located township of Cobh - facing south over Cork Harbour.  A perfect place to explore with a remarkable maritime heritage (Cobh was the ill-fated Titanic’s last port of call).

Join us at 10am on Saturday 31st July. We will spend the first couple of days getting to know Morwenna before setting off down the Channel.  After 6 or 7 days exploring the West Country we will round Land’s End and set off across the Irish Sea to southern Ireland where we can explore the equally beautiful coastline.  We will end the adventure in Cork on Saturday 14th August.

Tuesday 17th – Tuesday 31st August

Book a berth or book the whole boat!

£1300 per person or £8500 for the exclusive use of Morwenna

Join us after 10am on Tuesday 20th August, giving a day to look around Cobh before heading off the next morning. After 3 or 4 days exploring southern Ireland we will cross the Irish Sea and head for the West Country.

We have the opportunity to visit Dartmouth during Regatta week, which is a fantastic spectacle and a great social event.  We could participate in the events or just enjoy the carnival atmosphere – the crew will decide. More information about the Regatta can be found here.

The adventure will come to an end in Brixham on Tuesday 31st August.
