Morwenna

Each year in June, one of the world’s largest and most famous races takes place around the Isle of Wight. The Round the Island race has grown from 25 entrants in 1930 to over 1800 taking part in 2008.
Morwenna will be competing again in 2010, which presents an opportunity for racing in a large and diverse fleet. For many sailors, this is the only opportunity to compete and it is highly recommended, not just for the competition but also the onshore activites before and after the race itself.
We have a few berths left for next year's race, and these are available for £550 per person. Join Morwenna in the evening of Thursday, 17 June. Spend Friday honing your gaff rig sailing skills before competing on Saturday. The cruise home on Sunday will be gentle, with due consideration to the effects of the previous night's party in Cowes.
